Who is this 'Scott' guy?

That would be me. Scott Warner DeMouthe, born in Boonton, New Jersey on May 7, 1956. My family moved to Sunnyvale in September of 1958 and I've lived here ever since. I attended the following schools :

After leaving DeAnza the FIRST time around, I had various jobs such as 7-11 clerk, landscaping, I was a draftsman for a pool company for a while, I got into electronic drafting ( i.e. drawing schematics and such ), and finally ended up designing PC boards for almost 20 years.

Back to School? AT 40?

You bet! That PC design stuff got REALLY boring. By the time I left the industry, I had been working on CAD systems for a few years and was the System Administrator for a small computer network. The design work had gotten very tedious for me, but I found the Sys Admin work very fun, indeed! After taking all I could stand of the job, plus about 6 months, I finally got up the nerve to quit and go back to school ( I had worked at that company for over 10 years - quitting was hard ).

I've been back at DeAnza for almost 3 years now, studying the ins and outs of programming and network administration. I've really enjoyed my time here and am looking forward to my new career.

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE!

CIS 89a : Web Page Development

In the Spring quarter of 1999, I was enrolled in a Wonderful class taught by a Wonderful instructor, Mr. Gilberg. These are links to the assignments that I worked on : You can also have a look at The Green Sheet, the instructor's home page, or see the work my classmates did. ( Several of the links on this last page will be bad because some of the students kept their pages on the server at school. These have been deleted to make room for the subsequent quarters' work ) You can also look at our grades. Anyone who knows the last four digits of my phone number can figure out which ones are mine.

It's the most fun I've had with a computer in a long time!
